I am sure you have seen the wedding line BHLDN by Anthropologie that launched on Valentines Day. I wish it is was around when I got married 2 years ago. 

The great think about BHLDN is that there are so many pieces that can be used for everyday not just special occasions.  Here are a few of my favorite...

Look for less...Wedges

I was so happy to have found a pair of neutral wedges on my trip to Chicago and then to find out out I got a deal was even better!

I picked up these Steve Madden wedges in Khaki at Lori's Shoes in Lincoln Park (always a Chicago favorite!) They were $5 less than other stores online-I Googled them while in the store! I later came across the Stuart Weitzman wedges at Nordstrom for about 5 times the price of mine. 

I can't wait to start wearing them!

Spring 2011 Nail Trends

Spring doesn't only bring warm weather and allergies for me it brings back my regularly scheduled mani and pedis! I treat myself during Winter but when warm weather hits it is a neccessity.

Some how I stumbled upon a new blog last week, A PIECE of TOAST and got completely sucked in! I love when that happens!

Mindless Monday...Spring Fever

Spring arrived yesterday and so did my allergies. I love everything Spring brings...flowers in bloom, chirping birds, cocktails on the patio and bright colors and floral prints!

Take me a away...to Santa Barbara!

I was so excited when Jillian of Cornflake Dreams told me about the blog crawl she was planning. I know I'm ready for Spring and a vacation. She kicked us off yesterday with a glimpse into her upcoming trip to Portland-be sure to check it out!

I have been wanting to make a trip to Santa Barbara every since I visited CA for the first time last year. We went to San Francisco, Wine Country and Palm Springs. I totally fell in love with CA and couldn't wait to go back.

I was first introduced to Bacara via Couture & Crayons and knew I had to stay there.

I started my Spring shopping last weekend in Chicago but I hope to have these in my suitcase:

Mindless Monday...My trip to Chicago!

I wanted to share a few highlights from my weekend in Chicago while I am getting back in to the swing of things. I had a fabulous time with my BFF shopping, sipping on Starbucks to keep us warm (did you have any of their petite treats?!?!), wandering through Lincoln Park and dined at wonderful restaurants.

What was your favorite highlight from the weekend?

A little Chi-Town in my life!

I am off to Chicago today to spend the weekend with my best friend Nicole. It has been 7 years (has it really been that long?!?!?) since I lived there so a lot has changed. I am looking forward to trying new restaurants and seeing how the the city has developed.
