Loves: essie

Mani's and pedi's are pure bliss and I would get one every week if I could! I do not have the patience to paint my own nails so it is an excuse to get pampered.  I have been trying to build up my polish collection so that I can just bring my own polish to the salon. I am very clumsy and ALWAYS seem to walk out with a smudge and need to fix a nail or two. I have been loving the colors that essie has been coming out and Ulta was having great sale recently of buy 2 essie colors get 1 free.  I hope they bring that sale back!

I am a sucker for purples and pinks especially for summer!

Sunday Supper: Flip Burger

I love a good burger and Flip Burger fulfilled that craving on Friday.  I went with a 1st timer for lunch and was excited to take her there since it was one of my favorite places to dine in Atlanta.

We both ordered the Butcher's Cut with caramelized onions, blue cheese and red wine jam. There are always new sides added to the menu but I am a sucker for the french fries and onion rings with the array of dipping sauces.  It was busy but there was no wait and our food came out about 5 minutes after we ordered which is great especially for a work lunch.

I am a huge fan of Bravo's Top Chef and feel so lucky that Atlanta has multiple chefs from the past few seasons. Richard Blais from Season 4 has created a winner and I can't wait to support his next venture with Flip Burger in Buckhead.

Happy Hour: Skinnygirl Margarita

It's Friday and that means it's cocktail time!  

I have been a fan of all of the Real Housewives series on Bravo but one of my favorites is Bethenny Frankel from NYC. I tried making her Skinnygirl Margarita the first time she ordered it during the first season.  The best thing about it is there is no filler other than fresh limes. I also add a sugar rim instead of salt.

• 2 oz of Clear Premium Tequila (count 1, 2 while you pour, no need for measuring)
• Tiny splash of Orange Liquor
• Juice of 4 Fresh Lime Wedges

Shoulder Strap Dilemma

My hubby and I are traveling to Italy in September with another couple and I am counting down the days!  I have never been over seas so this is going to be an amazing experience.  All On top of choosing hotels all I can think of is what I am going to pack.  One of the first things I need is a new purse (even though I will hopefully be getting one there).  I realized I do not have one with a large shoulder strap to wear across my body.  I have been doing some research and came up with a few options...

Love: Summer Sandal

The Nine West Jollie caught my eye over the weekend and it is going to be a must have for a summer sandal.  I slipped on the display (the best part about having a small foot) and it fit perfect.  It is a very flattering and sexy shoe and all three colors are perfect for summer but I am always a sucker for black.  I know it will be perfect for work and play!
